Our Team

Your Experience is Our Job

The Kingfisher Team

Our lodge and the charter boats we contract with are second to none, but what makes Kingfisher truly exceptional is our team of people.

On the Water

The charter captains you'll fish with live in Sitka and have been fishing the Southeast Alaska waters out of Sitka for many years and process expertise and knowledge only gained by years on the water fished. Safety and angler success in catching fish are these captains' top priority.  We contract with some of the best charter guides in Sitka.  They've built their reputations on great trips with perfect days of fishing on the waters out of Sitka.

Back at the Lodge

On land, managers David Russell and Robert Suarez make sure the Kingfisher operation runs with precision. You'll be well taken care of by our friendly and professional lodge staff. Nothing is allowed to "slip through the cracks," from the time you are greeted at the Sitka airport upon arrival until you depart with boxes of your frozen catch. Our people make sure every detail is taken care of, so you're free to relax and enjoy your vacation.

Meals and More

When it comes to cuisine, Chef Kevin Jakway and the rest of the kitchen crew serve exceptional meals that emphasize meats and seafood. It's another part of your vacation you won't forget.
